For me, watching Koi meander sinuously around the dark waters of a fish pond is of the most restful and meditative things.
Unfortunately, I don't have a carp pond and it's an experience I sometimes miss. But, hey, I'm a woodcarver...
This carp is one among several takes on what Koi feel like, looking down into the water. I lean back on my chair, gaze at the wall where this fish glides and pretend I'm there.
