Slipstones Interactive Woodcarving Journal & Newsletter was an online venture that ran for nearly 3 years, ending in January 2003.

Readers subscribed and the content of each issue was made up from the comments and questions that they had, along with tips and hints, workshop and other news.
If you were one of those subscribers - many thanks for your support! I really enjoyed writing each issue.

I've decided to make Slipstones Interactive Woodcarving Journal & Newsletter available free: there are many interesting seeds of information lying therein and I feel they would be more useful sown into the wider fields of woodcarving.

I have archived the pdf journals into 3 zipfiles and I suggest you read them in chronological order.
You'll need WinZip or similar to open the zipfile and Adobe Reader to view the pdfs.

1. Some of the information (such as the web linking) is out of date, or irrelevant in other ways - you will just have to skim over that; I haven't time to change anything. Please just accept them as is.

2. Correspondence about the contents ended with the enterprise and I'm not able, or necessarily willing, to pursue anything in the journal that you may want to question. Please investigate my books, DVDs and all the many other woodcarving sources elsewhere for answers.

3. The material is copyright - I wrote it, took the pictures and compiled each issue. You mustn't use or alter anything without my permission! By all means print them, and I have no objection to you passing these journals on to your friends.
However, because of the provisos above, I would ask you to keep the pdf files together in their zipfiles and include the Read-Me-First document.
